Alternatively, you can type cd, then drag the folder into the Terminal window, and then hit Return to accomplish the same thing.

Now that we’re in the proper directory, we can use ImageMagick to create a montage. Type:

montage page41.jpg page42.jpg twopages.jpg

Montage tells your Mac to cram two pictures together; page41.jpg page42.jpg tells it which pics to use; and twopages.jpg tells it what to name the output file. All this results in Figure 6-9, which is a new file named twopages.jpg that’s stored in the current directory.
